> Do I need water in my tank to clean it?

To find out the volume of water your tank holds, apply the following formula:

First
measure the diameter then
multiply by itself

Second
measure the height and multiply this by 5, then multiply both your figures

eg. Diameter 7ft x 7 = 49
Height 4ft x 5 = 20
49 x 20 = 980
Tank Size: 980 gallons

To convert
centimetres to feet: divide by 30.48

litres to Gallons: divide by 4.55
